since i got free tickets from work, mike and i decided to get up at 6 am on saturday and drive [what was supposed to be] over 2 and a half hours to long island to watch the first of the pga playoff tournaments at bethpage black golf course in farmingdale, ny.
well, it only took us less than 2 hours [awesome!!], and it was a fantastic day. we saw all the golfers: tiger, rory mcilroy, bubba watson, rickie fowler, phil mickelson, etc.

on the way home, we decided to take a detour through nyc.
mike loved driving on the manhattan surface streets!
we just got back from a concert [more about that tomorrow!] and we have work in the morning, so goodnight!
