i hope everyone had a fantastic labor day weekend! as i sit here enjoying some of the delicious food i brought back from rhode island and watch mike yell as his computer as he drafts his fantasy team*, i thought i would update on the happenings here.
first of all i wanted to share this that i saw on a friend's facebook originally from the afscme:
something to think about
after getting off to a slow, relaxing start, mike and i spent the last day and a half on the road going from ct to boston to ri and back to ct. we went to the second week in a row of the pga tour playoffs at the tpc boston on sunday afternoon, and then drove down to westerly to see my family and friends. i was so happy i got to meet my friend's daughter who is almost 2 [wow, how time flies!], see my friends, go to the beach, and play some golf!
here are the photos of my lovely weekend:

AMAZING rhody food [clockwise from top]:
breakfast popovers and hashbrowns, lobster roll lunch, donuts for work tomorrow, ri's famous del's lemonade, and a chopped pasta salad for dinner!
*i am joining mike for two fantasy football leagues this year [one with our roommates and one with his family], and instead of drafting my own team, i am leaving it up to autodraft [aka the computer picking the players for me]. i selected which positions i want to pick before we left for the weekend because we didn't anticipate getting back in time, and since i already set that, i figured i would rather enjoy some food network, delicious food, and blogging while espn does the work for me!
