Welp, last night I did it - I chopped off 14 inches of my hair for Locks of Love. If you haven't heard of Locks of Love before, you definitely should visit their website; they are fantastic and make hair pieces for kids living with cancer, alopecia, and other disorders. This is the third time I've donated 10+ inches of hair [the first time was in 8th grade and the second was in college]. I'm sorry, I don't have a good pic of my new hair yet, but I promise you, it is short.
Roxy and I had some last long hair fun yesterday morning, and of course a work selfie before my appointment!
More tomorrow!

It was very sweet of you to do this. :)
Oh yeah, Roxy looks like she's having so much fun there. It’s so great that you do this!
Good for you!!! Can't wait to see the new do :)
Oh wow!!! Can't wait to see the short hair! :) I need to do that, I just always forget and I get annoyed with my hair before it gets long enough... but I'm going to try to remember it as my hair grows out this time!
I can't wait to see the short hair! You're so brave!
I did this in college and I haven't been patient enough to grow my hair out that long again. I can't wait to see the new do!
Oh my goodness, that's lot of hair!! Major props to you for doing that!
Chanting...SHOW US THE HAIR. SHOW US THE HAIR. SHOW US THE HAIR. ;)
What an amazing, selfless thing to do. If my hair ever decides to actually grow a little bit, I'll definitely look into doing the same.
I absolutely love that you did this!!
