Summer Drink Favorites

Happy Almost Fourth of July!  I don't know about you, but I love spending the Fourth out in the sun with a cold drink in my hand.  I haven't done one of these posts since last fall, when I told you about my favorite hard ciders.  I have to admit, I do think hard cider is mostly an autumn thing,* so I thought I would update what summer favorites I've been drinking lately!   *However, I do really enjoy a good Woodchuck Granny Smith or Summer when I'm hanging out in the yard in the summer.
Moscato My favorite summer wine!  Well, I enjoy Barefoot Moscato all year round, but I love its sweet taste especially in the summer.  

Iceman  Mike just found Angry Orchard's Iceman last month, and I have to say that we're in love.  It's made a lot like ice wines [they freeze the apples before it's made], and even though it's very tart, there are also vanilla and toffee undertones that make it not too sweet.

Skinnygirl Sangria I looooove sangria, and this one is delicious and doesn't make you feel guilty because 5 ounces only have 130 calories [and is still 10.5% alcohol by volume].  If it's a hot day, adding frozen pieces of peaches, kiwi, or strawberries really bring out the fruity agave nectar taste!

Shandies I am so happy that shandies are in style this year.  In past year's we've taken Busch Light and mixed it with Simply Raspberry Lemonade.  Yes, I know it sounds weird, but seriously beer + lemonade is so good.  Leinenkugal is a fantastic brand for both their Summer Shandy [the original] and Lemon Berry [wheat beer, lemonade, and blackberry].  

Bud Light  [plus or minus the Lime] I absolutely love my yard in the summer.  I love just sitting in our yard, and playing some yard games or having a fire and enjoying one of these great drinks.  Oh, and of course they are all perfect beach drinks too... as you can see when I snuck my Bud Light into the end of that Vine from my last beach trip :) Linking up for Wineo Wednesday!
