Cheesecake Brownies
I am a lucky lady. Mike really enjoys cooking and baking. Every once in a while, he'll see a recipe on Facebook and insist on making it that night. Good thing I like trying new things! One of his favorite things to make is his mom's recipe for cheesecake brownies. Occasionally, he will come home from work and decide we're making them that night [that's probably why we buy cream cheese and brownie mix in bulk from Sam's haha].
Here is her wonderful recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 package of brownie mix [and ingredients needed to prepare mix]
- 8 oz. cream cheese [we always use Philadelphia]
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare brownie mix as directed on box and pour into a greased 13x9 pan.
- Beat cream cheese with mixer until creamy. Then, add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Drop cream cheese mix by tablespoons over brownie mix and swirl with knife.
- Bake 35-40 until cream cheese is lightly browned.

Scott doesn't even know what cupboard the mixing bowls are kept in. Most of this is because I like to be in charge of my own kitchen, but anyway...
These look so good! You're lucky to have a sweet *fiancee* to bake you brownies!
YUM!!!!!!!! I will have to try these sometime.
