High Five! We made it to Friday! I'm really looking forward to this weekend because Mike is throwing me a 25th birthday party AND I get to go wedding dress shopping with my mom and three of my bridesmaids!!!

1. This is how my week started: covered in dust from mudding and sanding our basement bathroom.  If you follow me on IG or Snapchat (megatronnn27), you would know this already.  I'm just so excited about this new basement project!

2. Remember when I was STOKED about the new running sneakers I got?  Bad news bears, guys, they were awful!  That "stability" sole they had wreaked havoc on my plantar fasciitis and helped give me peroneal tendonitis.  Uggghh, but Finish Line was amazing and took the return.  I got a new pair of Nike Dual Fusions [my third in three years to be exact], and bonus - they were $30 cheaper than the old ones, so I got a new running shirt.  Memo to future self: don't mess with success.
3. On Tuesday, I came home to an amazing surprise in the mail.  One of my beautiful bridesmaids, Liz, asked me to be in her wedding!!! She does not have a date set yet, but it will be sometime around mine!  2014 is sure to be an amazingly fun and crazy year for us!  Thank you, Lizbif :)
4. Check out the beautiful weather we've been having in CT lately! I even got an iced tea from Starbucks on my way to work since it's going to be in the high 60s today!
5. And this is how my week ended: the bathroom is almost done!  Mike and I have been working on side-by-side projects in the basement.  Here's what half of the basement already looks like completed, and now we are finishing the bathroom and converting the old in-law apartment kitchen into a full laundry room [the last couple of photos in that link are of the old kitchen].
