The Perfect Cookie [NOT a Recipe]

Earlier this week, I was experimenting with a new cookie recipe [coming next week!!].  As you can imagine, to end up with a good recipe, I had to hit a few bumps in the road.  After baking cookies that spread out too much, didn't spread out at all, got too crunchy, or didn't cook through, it got me thinking about what the perfect cookie really is.

I've struggled with this a lot in the past with baking; I'm known for never making the same cookie twice [by accident].  You've probably all seen those charts on Pinterest with different cookie shapes and cooking styles, but I'd have to imagine that if even 5 of my readers commented on this post, we'd all have different opinions about which cookie below looks the tastiest.

So, yes, I know this post probably implied that I'd tell you what the perfect cookie is, but I want to know from you - what do you think the perfect cookie looks and tastes like? Crunchy or chewy? Flat or tall? Big or small?
PS, I'm not even going to try and dive into flavors of "perfect" cookies, we could be here for weeks!
