You're Gonna Miss This...

Last week, as I coached my last ever lessons at our beautiful facility, my boss walked out and said exactly that to me.

What he said definitely got me thinking about this song:

I feel like I've always struggled with being content where I am.  I've always felt like I'm waiting for something:  to finish college, to start a big-girl job, to get engaged, to start the next "season" of my Connecticut job, to go on a vacation, to get married, to move out of Connecticut.  I just hope [and need to tell myself] to enjoy single moment of South Carolina and be happy because this is exactly what I want.  In 3 months, I'll be married to the love of my life, have a job running my own chapter, and be living in one of my favorite places on Earth.  Now, don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved my Connecticut job.  I've written about it... a lot, a lot a lot, oh and a lot, and did I mention a lot?  So yes, my boss was right, I really am going to miss it here: my coworkers, the beautiful golf course where I get to teach, and especially, my kids.  Just look at these faces...

They're amazing and I love them all, but they will be in good hands and I cannot wait to meet even more families down in Charleston.  T-minus 12 days!

I definitely thought of that song as soon as I read your title too :) I think most people, myself included, definitely are constantly looking forward to the next event or next life change- sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate everything that is a moment!

Moving south is such a big change! I hear Charleston is one of the best cities though…plus you can explore a whole new part of the country.
