Pizza and Fridays go hand in hand in my book, so tt's time to share another one of our favorite Charleston restaurants! Today I'm featuring our favorite pizza place. Growing up, I always had a favorite pizza joint and a favorite Italian restaurant, and this is definitely still the case in Charleston. I'll hopefully be sharing that other Italian place soon... if I ever remember to take photos! But for now: DeSano Pizza. These guys are legit; the three 10,000 pound pizza ovens were made in Italy and shipped to Charleston, and the fresh mozzarella for pizzas and salads is flown over every single week from Naples. They make the coolest pizza concoctions, amazing salad, delicious fresh-filled cannolis, and have great European beer. My favorite aspect of DeSano's is definitely the long tables that make for the perfect big group atmosphere. We've had a few work parties there and everything is great for sharing.
