Preface #1: Whoops, I can't read calendars and thought I was scheduling this for tomorrow... soooo, enjoy some decor today and some weekend update-ness tomorrow!
Preface #2: Happy One Monthaversary to me and the Mr!
When it comes to fall, everything is a little different in South Carolina. See below:
A. Gourds in a bag from the grocery store. That's how we buy our fall decor in the South.
B. Drinking fall cider [the best one ever, I might add - cider posts coming soon!] with palm trees in the background.

Regardless, I'm embracing fall. Last year I professed that fall was going to be my new "thing." I might not be wearing my Uggs yet in this 80 degree weather, but at least I can decorate and OF COURSE we will be dressing up for Halloween. I was so excited when I saw a fun holiday link up on Lisa and fellow Charleston girl Cait's blogs; I figured it was a great excuse to photograph the simple little bits of fall we have around our home. I love fall decor because it's just that: simple, not over the top and crazy like Christmas [okay, I guess it was our own fault we made it that way...], but cute little accents to add to every part of the home.
Still love that banner I made last year!
Like my change to the wedding countdown Annalee gave me? /// And we FINALLY finished the M!
Works out nicely that our kitchen colors are tangerine and green!
Loving the book Jennifer sent me as a part of the Great Pumpkin Swap!

Each Fall, I say "THIS will be the year I go all out", and then...I wait until half way through the season, lol. This year is no exception. Love your banner!
Your paint chip banner is so cute! And love that you pointed out buying the gourds from the store- still so pretty!
So many cute touches. Love that banner from the paint chips.

Can you come and decorate my apartment?? So cute!
I love decorating for Fall as well, and am sharing my decor for the linkup as well! I love your Fall banner. Is that made from paint swatches? That is a genius idea! I would love to send you some Fall weather if you promise to send some warmer temps up to us. I'm totally not ready for these cooler temps, but unfortunatly I think they are here to stay for us in Ohio.
Loving your homemade banner, so cute! And now I need to try Woodchuck cider.. Angry Orchard has always been my fave. Thanks for linking up!
I'm with Katie... the paint chip banner is fantastic!
I love your decor! That bunting is so great, love the idea of adding some purple to the color scheme! Our front door at our last apartment totally looked the same way, and in the south we have to wait until the last minute to carve pumpkins! Definitely jealous of your hard cider this year :) Thanks for linking up!!
love the bunting banner - so cute!
