This month's budget was a little low for my OOTM shopping. Mike and I went to
the Masters a few weeks back, and obviously used our spending money this month to buy tickets and some fantastic Augusta merchandise. Besides this new mug, I'd say my favorite purchase would be my new striped koozies. I was told that I can't actually start living as a "Southern girl" until I have a koozie in my bag at all time, and bonus:
the koozie set I bought has two that are magnetic so you never lose them AND can share one with a friend!
Alright, now back to my outfit this month. I stopped in at TJ Maxx one day between visits to work sites and was thrilled to see tons of pretty spring colors. My eye was drawn to a rack of $15 maxi dresses. (Mind you, I am 5 feet tall and have never even tried on a maxi dress.) For some reason (probably the price), these dresses struck me, and before I knew it, I was checking out with a spring favorite. I've worn it a few times including to
this month's Charleston Blog Society event and a
couple of weekends ago when my sister-in-law was here.
I couldn't find the exact dress online (Don't you hate when you ask someone where they got something and they reply with TJ's or Marshall's? Yeah, you're never finding that piece.), but I did find other dresses from the same company in the same style on Amazon
here.
#PALE ...hopefully that'll change for next month's OOTM after
our Bahamas honeymoon in a couple of weeks!

That southern koozie reference is actually true, especially here in southern Missouri as well. My cousin, who is as far from southern as one will get, carries one with her because she wishes she was from the south. Its hilarious but then she's the one with the warm hands when we're drinking :)
