Loving: Essie's My Better Half. Mike got me spa gift certificates for my birthday, and I finally used one while he was gone. If you're a Charleston lady, definitely go check out Stella Nova - best pedi of my life!
Eating: Everything Mike hates: crab cakes, stuffed scallops and clams, and anything ranch-flavored. I made these fabulous Bacon, Chicken, Ranch Roll Ups that I need to share the recipe to soon.
Reading: Jim Gaffigan's second book, Food: A Love Story. I read his first book on our honeymoon and loved every second of it.
Missing: Our friends and family in New England. It was so nice to see them, and I'm so excited that we have wedding and births every 3 months or so for the next year to have excuses to get up there!
Drinking: Mike's delicious tropical cocktails concoctions. Check back next week when I share the recipe for the Sequin Notebook gals' cocktail link up and Kristin's Thursty Thursday. We also played a lot of pong on a closet door on our porch... yeah, we're adults, I swear.
Playing: Tennis! We've been playing tons of tennis lately and are loving these great courts with lights near our home.
Watching: Charleston River Dogs! Fourth of July and baseball go hand in hand for sure. Even though we only saw five innings before a rain delay, at least they decided to send off the fireworks, so we still got to seem them!
Anticipating: A week with my favorite little lady. One of the little girls I used to coach in Connecticut is coming down on Sunday to spend a week with me. I'm so excited!

One of the best things about the boy being gone is treating yourself to trashy TV, manis and pedis and then of course all the food that they don't like!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
Oooh I'm excited to see your ranch rollups - anything with a wrap, chicken bacon and ranch are yummy in my book!
It sounds like such a good couple weeks you've been having! Your trip up north to visit sounds fabulous with all that you packed in and I love treating myself when my husband is away - it's so fun to get to do all those little things you love!
You all have had some very busy weeks! Can't wait to see the new recipe & I hope you have a fun week with your visitor!

Best time to treat yourself is when the hubs is away. Loving your 4th of July nails!
All of your posts really make my husband and I want to retire in Charleston. Only 15 more years to go in the Midwest:)
