Anyone else have this problem with their wardrobes? Yes, I love summer dresses as much as the next girl, but oh man do I miss my blouses and jewelry from the winter. (Do statement necklaces make anyone else sweat? No? Okay, I guess I'm strange.) Well known fact, it's a million degrees all the time in Charleston, but it's been 3+ months since I went out of the house in anything but a sun dress or golf clothes. So finally, I went for it; I took a favorite shirt, rolled up the sleeves and traded the jeans for a really cute pair of Mossimo lace shorts from Target (on sale for $8 - woo!). It was surprisingly comfortable and the flowy material wasn't very hot at all.

Love your outfit! But I'm with you. I'm so ready to bust out things like corduroy pants, puffer vests, and scarves... which will last all of two weeks before I'm ready to have my shorts and sundresses back!
Cuuuuute! Miss Fashionista of Charleston. I did the same thing this past week in Houston. Got out a chambray, rolled up the sleeves, put on a fun necklace, and pretended like it wasn't in the high nineties.

LOVING those shorts! And I agree with you, I don't like it when the temps drop below 80 - my perfect medium is somewhere in the 80's because this upper 90's stuff is too hot! Yay for a fellow CT girl living in the south and loving the heat and no more harsh winters. I'm excited for some other clothes than my sundresses too, but once I switch I end up missing my dresses lol :-P

$8 shorts?! Yes!! As for the hot weather, you are crazy :) I can't wait to play tennis when it is 70 degrees or less! 95 at night is too hot for me.

Those shorts are so cute. I'm torn on this one....I LOVE warm weather and the summer...and we bought a house with a pool a few months ago so i've been so greedy to swim! :D but i also love the holidays and all the coziness...sigh.

I tried something like this while we were honeymooning, and I basically died in the heat. As much as I love summer, I can't wait to bust out my fall wardrobe again!
