Almost-anniversary Weekend in Atlanta
For our "paper" anniversary gifts, Mike and I bought each other tickets to Philadelphia Eagles games this fall. Neither of us had ever been to an NFL game, so we thought the Monday Night Football season opener against the Falcons would be the perfect first game. (Our second game will be in Charlotte against the Panthers in October.) We decided to make a weekend of it since Atlanta was a new city for both of us, too. We arrived in the city on Sunday and went to a Braves/Mets game as well as the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke on Monday. Sadly, our Eagles didn't win, but it was still a good game and the perfect way to start our anniversary week. Seriously, how is Sunday already our first anniversary?!

Love the paper anniversary idea. I am trying to convince my dear husband to take me to Bears/Vikings. I think that is a good deal:) We shall see how that works out! Enjoy your week!!

What a great idea for your first paper anniversary! We wrote letters to each other to open for "paper". ATL is only 6 hours from us, and I still haven't been, but want to go for vacay!

I love people are so creative with 'traditional' anniversary gifts. I'm hitting 20 yrs next month & trying to work on that for my hubs.

Best anniversary celebration ever! Looks like you guys took advantage of every second in Atlanta and hit up all the fun spots! I've been to NFL games, but never to a Monday night game - hopefully that'll change soon :)

Time flies ... I'm 7 1/2 years in and I have NO IDEA where that time went. This looks like such a fun anniversary weekend! Can beat sports and sunshine. Hope you had a great time exploring together!
