So, to start off, I think I've accepted that I'm going to be posting about three times per week moving forward. I really want to work on quality over quantity, and so far, I feel like I've been able to accomplish more of that not trying to post 5 days per week. Plus, I feel like I'm only really able to read and comment on blogs about that many times per week, so I think it'll be a pretty even give and take.
Did anyone see Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday night?! Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and even Huey Lewis stopped by, and it was awesome!
I know I'm the very last one to blog about this, but I am so very excited about the Gilmore girls revival! I've started binge watching each morning before work.
Speaking of television, we are trying to watch far too many shows right now: Modern Family, Black-ish, The League, SVU, Blood & Oil, Best Time Ever with NPH, plus Parenthood and Mad Men on Netflix. Now with baseball playoffs and football 4 days a week, we are so behind. Anyone have a favorite this fall?
My two teams (Eagles and Panthers) are about to duke it out this weekend, and WE'RE GOING to Charlotte with Erika and her husband to watch! Mike was not so happy to see a Cam jersey on my birthday wishlist - too bad ;) though Teenage Newton Ninja Turtles is the name of the fantasy football team we share.
True Life: I've had the same work bag for four and a half years. It's the same one since this post. When I saw Katie's post yesterday, I was beyond excited about the look (and price) of that Sole Society oxblood bag. Well, I ordered it from Nordstrom only to get an email hours later that it was actually out of stock. Anyone know where else I might be able to find it?
Now this also has me thinking that I haven't done a "what's in my bag" in three years, so once I find this new mystery bag, I will be sure to post about that!
I have to make a sincere apology about sponsored posts on this little blog. I work mostly with Social Fabric, and they are just so sporadic. There are so many dates thrown around for these "shoppertunities" that it's hard to keep them straight, plus the companies really seem to eb and flow with when they want to work with blogs. So, I know I posted 5 times for them last month (specifically 3 times in a 10-day span), but before that, there wasn't one since July 1st, and I don't have any planned on the horizon. I really appreciate y'all reading those posts and commenting on them. It's been fun to try out new recipes, and this Oreo Halloween recipe has actually become one of my favorites. Honestly, making a bit of money from this blog while writing about things I feel fit with this blog definitely make the bills at the end of each month a bit easier.
Lastly, did you see that Veronica, Macy, and I are hosting a link up on Tuesday? We want to hear all about what fall looks like in your city: the sights, smells, eats, things to do!

Have you tried Sole Society's website? I dont know if they have more in stock that Nordstrom would!! I agree quality of quantity girl! Hope you have a great weekend! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
I have a few unfinished posts on my blogger too!! I saw the Jimmy show the next day! I thought it was super awesome! So excited for Tuesday!!
I am the same way---three posts works best for me! Otherwise I feel like I start posting things like, "Hi! I have nothing to say today so let me just write this sentence about how I have nothing to say."
i love posting 3 times a week! you'll love the extra time you have. have fun in charlotte!! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
Three times per week seems much more manageable.. I might do that too. You're going to have to tell me how long it takes you to get to Charlotte! We're thinking of going in a few weeks, so basically I can figure however long it takes you + 2 hours for us haha. Some people tell me 3, some people tell me 4 hours, so I have no clue.
Have so much fun! See you next week =)
Love this idea for Friday posts! And yesss to Mad Men on Netflix although I'm upset they haven't released part II of the final season yet.
Happy Friday gurlie and have an amazing time in Charlotte <3

I so loved the Back to the future thing on Jimmy Kimmel ... love the actors both committed to it so well :)
Jimmy Kimmel was hysterical! It did make me sad thought MJF's Parkinson's has progressed so much. Have you seen the documentary on Back to the Future. It was really good. My husband is a huge fan. Iim kind of regretting not getting Jack a Marty McFly costume this year...There is always next year!
I'm with ya on spreading my TV schedule too thin, there are just so many shows!! I didn't catch Jimmy, I'll have to catch it!
We love blood & oil, wick is hot and from the shows Greek & chasing life which I loved too!
What's social fabric?
GILMORE GIRLS!!! And I love that bag! I totally feel ya on sponsored posts. I want to have it balanced and feel bad throwing them in randomly, but the extra money is great...so that won't stop me haha ;)
I loved the Jimmy Kimmel skit! It was so much fun!
I can't look at another bag. I'm sending back the second one that I've bought in the last 3 weeks because I just don't like it. I'm bagged out.
I'm a little jealous over the football game. Maybe not the teams so much ;) But I'd like to experience a professional football game to be part of a wild crowd! I hope you all have a great time!
I am really liking Blood & Oil! I also watch How To Get Away with Murder, SVU, and a bunch of reality tv. Now that you are talking about work bags, I've had mine for going on three years...that's a long time! I love it though so I don't think I'm ready to give it up, but the one you posted is super cute! Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Hope you are having a good weekend! Wayyy too excited about Gilmore Girls. :)
I love the three day a week idea and have been thinking about that myself and am probably heading towards that direction in the new year – it’s just too much to keep up with! How fun that both your teams played last night – hope you had a blast!
I need a new work bag too! I've had mine for years and I never even really loved it in the first place!
